Other Tailor-made Tours

As we have a great variety of specialists in our team, we can prepare very different tours in nature, not only with birds (nature is our love, birds our passion).

Are you interested in plants and trees?


We can organize a circuit looking for different species or different environments with emphasis in its vegetation.

As an example we can show the Mediterranean Ecoregion (including forest and chaparral), the Southern Temperate Forest or the flowers linked to the peculiar phenomena, like the Flowering Desert (after El Niño event). Also we can make a plan for the high andean plateau looking for their botanical components

Are the Flowers your issue? We can propose you a tour fitting your interest, and this could be a very interesting alternative, if you have in mind how long and diverse is our country.

What about Cactuses? Maybe you are interested on it. We have a lot of endemic species and a wide variety of these peculiar plants, and we know where.

But, as we are especially concerned about plant conservation, and we do not allow to pick up from the environment.

In other kind of organisms, you could be interested in vertebrates. We have the capability to create interesting circuits to find a good arrangement of chilean frogs, lizards (e.g. lava lizards), or mammals, working with highly qualified specialists.

The mammals are always a big problem because the Chilean species are mostly rodents or little sized animals, and also they are mainly nocturnal. Nevertheless we can organize a program to find mammals, following specific interest.

Birding Tours

Despite our efforts, It’s possible you didn’t like our standard tours.  Why? We can imagine different cases:

You could be an advanced birdwatcher, so you’re interested in a very short (and hard!) list of target birds.

You are a birdwatcher interested in a most “wild” kind of trip, so you want to camp and explore the outdoors, instead of a traditional birding tour.

You also could be a person interested in photography or documentary, so you have a general interest in nature as well as birds as subjects of your pictures.

These kind of alternatives are not a problem for us. We can prepare a birding tour to specifically fit your interests, and we don’t care if you want to find a specific family or group (e.g. Rhynocriptids, or Endemics) or a specific bird or a little group of birds. The same will happens if you want to camp and walk to know a specific area (we also love it!). And last but not least, we are also photographers (our pictures has been published in books and magazines), then we understand the problems and interest of people hunting for images.

We are able to organize tailor made birding and nature trips for people who want to get the most of their time, from a half day after a business meeting in Santiago, to a long journey along our country.
